Step 1: Open This PC :

If you want to fix this error then first of all you need to open this pc in your computer or laptop. Opening of this pc is very simple if you dont know then I am going to guide you that how to open this pc. First of all open desktop screen and move your mouse ksrcure over this pc in your computer or laptop and then double click on it.

Step 2: Open Local Disk (C):

When you open this pc, then also follow the same process move your mouse ksrcure over local disk(c) in your computer or laptop and then double click on it. So will see this type of windows.

* Open Program Files:

Once you open local disk(c), then you need to open program files of your windows by the same opening process as I discussed in the above article, which is move your mouse ksrcure over program files and then double click on it so another type of windows will appeared.

* Open Microsoft Office:

Afrer you program files, you need to open microsoft office by the same method double clicking on it.

* Office16:

When you open microsoft office, you will see different folders you do not open any xyz folder because you open wrong folder your problem or error can't solved. So when you see different folders, you need to open by double clicking office16.

Step 3: Setup OSPPREARM (Run as administrator):

This step is the last step of this article. In this step you need to setup ospprearm, when you open office16 folder in your pc or laptop. 

When you open office16 folder then you will see the following four(4) further folders;

1. OSPP

2.OSPP

3. OSPPREARM

4. SLERROR

After that you must need to right click on third(3) folder which is OSPPREARM and then you will see this type of windows.

As we see that in the above windows third(3) is run as administrator then we double click(left click) on it. When we double click on it, it will take a few seconds loading and that our error “You can’t make this changes because the selection is locked” is been fixed. Then go to your ms office tools like ms word, ms excel, ms powerpoint and ms vision etc will see your problem or error is solved.
